Thoughts

Dear Mum - I am feeling bereft without you. I know I am going to miss you so so much. You have been a constant part of my life both as a child and as an adult. You have always been there for me, supporting me and encouraging me. We have spoken nearly everyday for the past 60 years. You have been such a massive part of my life. You have been my friend as well as my mother - always ready to listen, to offer advice, to have a moan with, to have a laugh with and to have a gossip with. You are the one I have always turned to - and now, you won't be there anymore. I don't know how I will manage without you, I really don't, but I want to thank you for everything you have done for me. You really have been the best mum in the World. Thank you! Love you for always, miss you forever, Pauline xxx

Betty was a much loved and caring woman. She raised three wonderful children who are each a testament to her nature and love. I have never heard her raise her voice and she was full of good thoughts. She lived a full life and will be missed by all. May her soul rest in peace. She has now gone to join her loving husband. Nigel, Corinne, Julia and sebastian

I will miss you nanna and thank you for all you have done for me over my 31 years. I am so grateful I was able to spend such lovely times together with you. Christmas will not be the same without you. I remember my mum telling me about the Christmas you bought me a dolls pram and grandpa let me open it before you were there and you were so upset and cross with him because you didn't get to see my face when I opened it. Looking back over photos and just remembering you were normally saying oh get that blasted thing away. There are so many great memories like the year we were playing trivial pursuit and you were napping and then shouted out the answer and my dad thought you were sure on the answer and went with it and got it wrong. You loved your hot chocolate and your strictly come dancing and most of all you loved your family and loved to hear about our days and everything that we got up to even when we were far away. You would always ask after every one of your grandchildren and shared in all our achievements. Bye bye nanna xxx
